Itinerary

  1. Day 1Flight from Eindhoven to Cluj and overnight stay in Băița.
  2. Day 2Arrival in Cârlibaba and preparation for the walk.
  3. Day 3Transfer to the Via Transylvanica and a 16 km walk to Fundu Moldovei (stage 5).
  4. Day 4Walk 15 km to Sadova (stage 4).
  5. Day 5Walk 18 km to Moldovița Monastery (stage 3).
  6. Day 6Walk 18 km to Sucevița Monastery (stage 2).
  7. Day 7Walk 15 km to Putna (stage 1) and transfer back to Cârlibaba.
  8. Day 8Travel from Cârlibaba to Cluj and return to the Netherlands.
